Our Jena Wellness Bliss Bars are sold at Picnick, a sustainable food kiosk located in Battery Park, New York City. As a mini model of consumer & eco conscious food service, Picnick sources most ingredients from small farms and local businesses; any global vendors must meet Fair Trade quotas or adhere to a socially conscious philanthropy. In an attempt to diminish the waste footprint of New York City, Picnick’s disposable take-out containers, cutlery, cups, and labels are all biocompostable and biodegradable, being derived from renewable raw materials such as starch (e.g. corn, potato, tapioca etc), cellulose, soy protein, lactic acid etc., not hazardous in production and decompose back to carbon dioxide, water, biomass etc. in the environment when discarded.
